There are seven categories to vote in and the winners and runners up
will be invited to a glitzy awards ceremony at the Kenwick Park Hotel, Louth.
There, the winners will be presented with a crystal trophy, a bottle of wine and a certificate for
their achievements.
The runners up will be given a certificate each.
To nominate your unsung hero simply fill in the appropriate voting form and write no more than 100 words about why you think they should win.
Nominations must live or work within the circulation covered by the Louth Leader or Mablethorpe and Sutton on Sea Leader.
Once the nominations are in, voting forms will be printed and readers will decide on who wins.
A panel of judges will then choose one of the winners as the Leader Achiever 2009.
To register your vote, drop your nomination forms off at Seacroft Ford, Seacroft Road, Mablethorpe, at the Louth Leader Office at 44 Eastgate or post them to Leader Champions Awards, Louth Leader, 44 Eastgate, Louth LN11 9NJ.
Nominations must be in by 12noon on Wednesday July 15.

They currently provide servicing and maintenance for a motorbility fleet of 200 vehicles.

Heroes receiving recognitionTHE 2008 Leader Champions Community Awards saw people from all walks of life nominated. Teachers, ice-skaters, carers and dancers were amongst the unsung heroes receiving recognition.

Despite battling an inoperable brain tumour, brave teenager Alex Ruby from Mablethorpe has written a collection of 51 poems. He was well deserving of the Youth Achiever award.

The Community Spirit Award went to Rose Parnell for her fundraising

Wayne Maddison won the Carer Award for his services to Louth with the LIVES First Responder Medical Team

John Taylor won the Parent Award. He has a prosthetic leg but manages to look after his disabled wife, his autistic son and his daughter.

The Top Teacher Award winner was Chris Wood for inspiring pupils at Kidgate Primary School, Louth

Gloria and Millicent Tuplin won the Techno Ted Child Achiever award.

The Customer Care award went to Louth Hospital represented by Karen Kerman, Trish Taylor, Pete Thompson and Ian Drewery.
