Out of all the tea rooms in the county, just 11 have received gold awards - and two of these are in Alford.
Alford Manor House and the Willows Restaurant, both in West Street, Alford, will collect their awards at a ceremony later this month.

House manager of Alford Manor House Sara Blair-Manning was delighted customers enjoyed the experience of a 'cuppa' in the 400 year old house, or out on the lawns.
And Paul Robinson from the Willows Restaurant was equally delighted with the award.

As well as cooking for the restaurant, he passes on his culinary knowledge to students at Grimsby Institute where he teaches once a week.
