Coronation fun, Mablethorpe-style
Janet Watson (nee Taylor) with brother Neave Taylor and cousin Carol Marsh in Mablethorpe.
THIS great photo was taken in Mablethorpe during the Queen’s Coronation back in June 1953.
It shows Janet Watson (née Taylor) on the left with (centre) her brother Neave Taylor and (right) cousin Carol Marsh (née Cuniffee).
The children were kitted out in fancy dress for the occasion and are pictured outside the French windows in the back garden off 22 Alexandra Road, Mablethorpe.
Do you have an old Mablethorpe picture? We’d love to see it.
