Raise a glass, and say ‘cheers’ to county Co-op’s birthday
CHEERS to big birthday beer! Batemans Brewery has teamed up with Lincolnshire Co-operative to bring special ale to mark the 150 year anniversary of the Co-op’s long-running service.
The 500ml bottles of ale will go on sale in all 70 society food stores, priced £1.50. Members will also receive five times dividend points on their purchases.
Director Stuart Bateman said: “Batemans and Lincolnshire Co-op are both integral to the Lincolnshire community, so it’s a perfect partnership.”
The beer promotion is not the only initiative being used to commemorate the 150th anniversary.
