Trusthorpe guest house scoops another award

THE Ramblers Guest House in Trusthorpe has scooped another prestigious award – this time at the 2008 tourism 'Oscars.'

Kim and Terry Lord – owners of the Guest House on Sutton Road attended the Lincolnshire Star Awards on Friday

The Ramblers scooped first prize in the Guest Accommodation category 2008.

Kim said "Winning best Guest House for 2008 is fantastic, especially when The Ramblers was awarded Bronze at the regional tourism awards three weeks ago."

Terry added "To be crowned top of the category in Lincolnshire is wonderful and the icing on the cake for us. We've been awarded the winning certificate and it will be going up on our wall for all our guests to see."

Feargus Mack, Head of Marketing at Lincolnshire Tourism said: "The STAR Awards crown the best tourism businesses from across the county. The competition was tough but the winners are shining examples of the great experiences people can expect in Lincolnshire."
