Youngsters put best feet forward for charity
Youngsters from both the Carre’s Grammar School and Kesteven and Sleaford High School took part in the event on the last day before half-term.
They covered 12 miles, completing the distance from Sleaford to Rauceby and Silk Willoughby and back.

Hide AdA spokesperson for Carre’s said that each year group raised money for a different charity: Year 7, for Tourette’s Syndrome; Year 8 for the Alzheimer’s Society, Year 9 for the Chemotherapy Bus; Year 10 for Young People’s Mental Health; Year 11 for the RAF Benevolent Fund; Sixth Form for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Last year £8,250 was given to charity from the walk.
