Louth Library

Louth Library is great. Its a brilliant Library for a town and it has plenty of choice. They have quite a sweet children’s section which they often have things on for kids. The reference section is brilliant and there is also internet access. The people who work there are extremely helpful and friendly. There is a dvd/music loan system too. They will happily order in any books which you want. Upstairs there is a large area available for hire.

Louth library is a great library. It’s not big, but neither is Louth, and you can pre-order anything you want to read. There is a good range of DVDs at excellent prices (rent a childrens’ DVD for £1 for a week), and the children’s library is lovely - I’ve often snuggled there with one of my brood for a story before making our choices.
There are computers available for net-browsing and research, and upstairs is the Conoco Room which is a useful function room and hosts a wide variety of charity and private events.
One disadvantage with the library is that the loos are upstairs, which is tricky with children, but there is a lift available.
The staff are really friendly and informative and there are always summer holiday activities for children. Louth Library is a good place to go to find out about all activities locally - the noticeboard in the foyer is regularly updated with what’s on locally and there are local information leaflets available too.
