ON Monday June 30 Louth Film Club will be screening Tell No-One, a psychological action thriller that was one of the most talked about films of 2007.
This French adaptation of American crime writer Harlan Coben's best-selling novel, starring François Cluzet and Kristin Scott Thomas, is fast-moving and full of suspense, but also brilliantly acted, intelligent and thought-provoking.
Eight years after his wife's death, Alexandre Beck (Cluzet) becomes a suspect in her murder, but at the same time he starts receiving emails that suggest she is still alive.
Tell No-One, Certificate 15, is at Louth's Playhouse Cinema, in Cannon Street at 7.30pm.
Louth Film Club's programme for 2008/9 is available from the Tourist Information Centre, the Playhouse Cinema or, with details of membership, from Off The Beaten Tracks record shop in Aswell Street, Louth.
