Snake David at Louth Town Hall

FOLLOWING a performance at the recent Earth Hour Gig, top saxophonist Snake Davis returns to Louth Town Hall on Sunday April 20, this time bringing his four piece band to perform a unique mix of jazz, soul, world and funk.
Snake, who has accompanied such famous musicians as Paul McCartney, James Brown, the Eurythmics and Amy Winehouse as well as performing and recording with his band, plays a range of saxophones, from baritone through tenor/alto to the little sopranino.
He also plays various flutes and whistles.
His Louth date is part of a British and Canadian tour to celebrate the release of his eighth album, Talking Bird.
Doors open at 7pm and the music starts at 7.30.
* Tickets are available from Off The Beaten Tracks record shop in Aswell Street, Louth. The shop is closed on Thursdays.
