EDITOR – We stayed up to see in the new year in Louth and looked out of our windows to see the usual fireworks, which were OK, but after a while, someone released several Chinese lanterns.
We weren't sure what they were at first, but would just like to say how lovely they were. They made a pleasant change from fireworks and it was the perfect evening for them. Thank you to whoever it was, and hope to see some more next new year!
