EDITOR – It is hard to believe we live in a civilised society, to judge from the appallingly slippery footpaths all round Louth in the snowy weather.
Given that every person who attempted to get out and about was at serious risk of serious injury, I suggest our town, district and county councillors dispense with their usual complacent inertia and actually pledge to ensure this level of danger never again occurs, or, if they cannot manage that, do us all a favour and resign.
