EDITOR - So we are getting all these large supermarkets in Louth; Morrison's, Sainsbury's, Tescos (so the rumour has it) Lidls. We now have a Greggs and re getting a Subway. What next, an Asda?! Soon we will have more supermarkets than we have takeaways, and we do have a lot of takeaways.
My point is this, with all these supermarkets coming are they going to bring with them their petrol stations so that we can all enjoy the benefits of cheaper petrol? If not, why not?
I mean we only have two of them so we do have room for at least three more.
Also, what about a McDonalds? We could have one on the industrial estate on the roadside to pick up trade from the passing traffic.
It would create jobs and also it would bring all the boyracers
out of the town centre to the industrial estate which would make the centre of town quiet and safer because we all know they hang around McDonalds in their cars.
So, come on McDonalds, come to Louth, WE NEED YOU!
