Alford Craft Market celebrates 37th year

NOW in its 37th year, Alford Craft Market once again presents its Annual Spring Bank Holiday event.

Alford Craft Market’s Spring Event traditionally shows and promotes working crafts and this year is special as they are celebrating 40 years of Alford Pottery with Michel and Heather Ducos who are the founders of the Alford Craft Market.

The event runs from Saturday June 2 to Monday June 4 and is held in the picturesque grounds of the Alford Manor House from 10am to 5pm each day. There will be a host of good quality craft stalls with the opportunity to buy unique locally hand made and designed goods direct from the makers. Local Artists will be showcasing their work and you will be able to purchase their artwork or commission a special piece.

There will be a weekend of ceramics with clay workshops for children and adults, a wheel throwing demonstration and more.

There’s lots to do for all of the family, a face painter will be there to turn the children into walking works of art and have a go at creating your own work of art with free workshops.

There is food and drink available at the Alford Manor House.
