THE annual Grainthorpe Festival of Arts which will be held over the bank holiday weekend, from 10am to 5pm each day.
The three day event will include the sale of paintings, crafts and features a flower festival in the church.
Ninety one artists will be exhibiting 448 paintings and 30 crafters will also display their goods at the festival.
The paintings are exhibited in St Clement’s Church and the crafts in the village hall and Tithe Farm Barn in Church Lane.
Refreshments will be available at St Clement’s Cafe in the village hall. All proceeds from the event go to St Clement’s Church and other Grainthorpe village organisations.
Last year’s festival was attended by nearly 1,000 people and raised over £5,000 for local organisations.
A Preview Evening is to be held on Friday August 26 from 7pm at the church. Admission is £4 which includes a glass of wine or soft drink.
For the rest of the weekend admission is by catalogue at £1.50. Children under 16 are free when accompanied by an adult.
