PEOPLE are being encouraged to give indoor kurling a go at Fulstow Village Hall while enjoying coffee, biscuits and chat.

The session has been set up for men and women of all ages. The first session runs tomorrow (Thursday) and then every Thursday between 1pm and 2.30pm.

Indoor kurling is similar to curling, but instead of being played on ice it is played on a hard floor.

Shane Ward, of Lincolnshire Active Community Network, said: “New age kurling is great way for the local community to get involved in physical activity and meet new people.”

Pete Humphrise, of the Wragby Club, said: “I was a bit unsure at first but came along for a go and really enjoyed it. It is great to meet and chat with others and I really enjoy playing. We have a large age range from 40 to 88 so anyone can play and join in”.

l Anyone interested in taking part should contact Shane on 07944 432400 or email bookings@lincolnshiresports.co.uk or just turn up on the day.
