Open garden in Louth for St Andrew’s Hospice
THE garden at Grantchester in Stewton Lane, Louth, is open on Sunday May 6 and Monday May 7.
It will be open between 1pm and 5pm on both days to raise money for St Andrew’s Children’s Hospice and if you love gardens then a springtime visit to this one is a must.
The unusually shaped garden hugs the house in a blanket of green, covering an area of approximately half an acre. The owners describe it as a plants person’s garden and you will soon see why as the garden contains an unusual variety of plants, shrubs and trees collected over a number of years.
The garden also features a large pond and waterfall.
Plant and refreshments will also be on sale.
Admission to the garden is £1.50, free for children.
