Shiny Stockings Band to perform at 1940s night in Sandilands

REVELLERS on the coast can turn back the clock and enjoy a 1940s night to raise money for local causes.
The Grange and Links Hotel at Sandilands are hosting the Shiny Stockings Band, made up of eight musicians from Lincolnshire’s Big Swing Band on Saturday, May 5 at 7pm.
The band will be backed by international vocalist Gary Grace, who will be including early Sinatra hits as well as wartime favourites.
Organised jointly by Community Spirit, the Fossils and Alford and Mablethorpe Rotary Club, the night will raise vital money for charities.
The night will incorporate a prize draw and people are invited to wear wartime fashions and uniforms though it isn’t compulsory.
Tickets are £15 which include a bangers and mash supper, and are available from the Grange and Links Hotel on 01507 441334.
