Strictly stars to appear in town

BALLROOM dancing fans are in for a treat this weekend when the “Stars of BBC TV’s Strictly Come Dancing” waltz into Skegness.

A spokesperson said: “With over nine million viewers each week for BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, demand for dance shows is at an all time high.

“Now two of the stars from the show, Katya Virshilas and Pasha Kovalev, will present a sensational new show which will be touring the UK for a very limited period during April.

“The show will comprise of exhibition dance routines by the pair plus two other rising stars in the world of dance, featuring Rumba, Waltz, Foxtrot and many more, audience participation, 40 young dancers from a local dance school and a question and answer session,” they added.

The show will be held in the Embassy Theatre on Sunday, April 15 at 7.30pm.

Tickets cost £23.50 for adults, £22.50 for over 60s and £11 for children.

Earlier on the same day, dancing afficionados will also get the chance to enjoy some waltzing of their own.

The theatre will hold its latest Embassy Tea Dance session from 2pm to 4pm.

Doors open at 1.30pm and tickets cost £3.50 per person.

Admission includes tea and biscuits.
