Thursday Night Band at New Orleans Club

Peter Jones’s Thursday Night Band will be playing this Thursday, January 10, at the New Orleans Club in Louth.

Owing to a diary conflict, Brian Boles was unable to play before Christmas but he confirmed that he’ll be there this Saturday, January 12, playing the trumpet, singing and leading the band. Brian has several bands, his main one being the Omega band which plays regularly in Nottingham.

Brian played for some years on cruise ships in the Mediterranean and is very well known in Nottingham and South Lincolnshire.

He plays a wide range of material from pure New Orleans through later styles of jazz and including material from the Great American Songbook.

He also plays quite a few of the later Louis Armstrong tunes and songs.
