West End musical to be staged at the Embassy
A MUSICAL featuring some of the greatest hits from the rock ‘n roll era starts a week-long run at the Embassy Theatre, Skegness, on Monday.
Inspired by a series of multi-million selling compilation albums, the West End sell-out sensation Dreamboats and Petticoats has its first showing at 7.30pm.
The show is set in 1961 when emotions are running high as young musicians Norman and Bobby compete to win a national song-writing competition - and more importantly the attention of the gorgeous Sue!
When Bobby discovers that shy Laura is a whizz on the piano, love and rock ’n’ roll fame beckons.
Dreamboats and Petticoats features classic tracks from the likes of Roy Orbison, The Shadows, Eddie Cochran, Billy Fury and many more hits from music’s golden era. For tickets call the box office on 0845 6740505
