Louth diamond jubilee party at Hubbard’s Hills

LOUTH Town Council is putting on an afternoon of fun and entertainment at Hubbard’s Hills on Sunday June 3.

Families are asked to take along a picnic mat and their own food and drink, no BBQ’s please, and there will be a magician, face painter, roving comedic acts, a musical steam organ, local folk rock bands, novelty singing groups and buskers for the duration of the event from 12noon to 6pm.

People are encouraged to dress up as kings, queens, princes and princesses with prizes for the best outfit.

l On Monday June 4 the jubilee beacon will be lit in the grounds of the Orme Almshouses in Eastgate at 10pm.
