Cash stolen in church raid

ST PETER'S church in Trusthorpe was broken into over the weekend and cash stolen.

The incident occurred at the church on Sutton Road sometime overnight on Saturday to Sunday morning where the burglars broke in the rear window and took money from a jar.

Police are appealing to anyone living in or passing through the area who heard or saw any suspicious activity overnight.
