Emergency crews search for missing woman

EMERGENCY crews were called to help locate a missing woman along the coast on Sunday afternoon.

Teams made up of the Mablethorpe and Donna Nook Coastguards, Mablethorpe RLI and police – scanned the area along the coast from Saltfleet Haven to Mablethorpe at around 2.30pm.

The 46 year-old woman was located safe in the sand dunes at North End just before 5pm.

It is believed the woman, from the Northamptonshire area, had been missing for three days.
