MOBILITY scooter users in Mablethorpe are like 'mindless demented Daleks' according to one reader.
We asked for your views after reports several people had been injurd by mobility scooters in the resort.
Here are some of your views -

* Mablethorpe is fast becoming a town overrun with mindless demented DALEKS.

* These scooters are a menace on the pavements in Mablethorpe and the drivers think they have priority and are totally ignorant if someone complains to them they should pay some kind of tax to use them - J Gamble, Dymoke Road, Mablethorpe.

* I think that anyone who wants to drive a mobility scooter should have a doctors letter saying that they need one because they cannot walk far. There are far too many scooters on the pavements and a lot of people who use them can walk about perfectly well, they are just bone lazy! I have seen quite a few scooters being driven on the road which is very dangerous, and as they say no road tax or insurance what will happen when they cause an accident and injure themselves or someone else! - Mrs C Franks, Church Lane, Mablethorpe.
