Ten year-old arrested for theft

Monday 10.30am - A TEN year-old boy was arrested for stealing from a fruit machine at the Mirage Arcade, High Street, Mablethorpe on Friday.
Police said the boy from Barnsley, had climbed into the large fruit machine at around 2pm and released prizes including mobile phones, Nintendo games and cuddly toys with cash attached to them.

He was arrested at the scene and taken to Mablethorpe Police Station where, accompanied by a family member, he was voluntarily interviewed.

The boy admitted the offence and received an instant Reprimand for theft and was subsequently released. A number of items were recovered.
