Sunday 8am - A CALL has come for more prosecutions to be taken out against individuals in East Lindsey who flout planning regulations.
At a district council executive board meeting, members expressed frustration that more cases were not being taken to court.

Coun Colin Davie insisted: "We've got to start sending out signals breaches will not be tolerated. At present people are bending the regulations, breaking the law and not getting punished."

Agreement came from Coun Neil Cooper who maintained there needed to be 'a step-change in planning enforcement'.

Council leader Coun Doreen Stephenson expressed hopes council chiefs would take on board the concerns.

"There needs to be more urgent progress," she insisted.
