Tuesday 11am - AUDREY Moore has retired from her post as Chief Executive for the Lincoln and Lindsey Blind Society.
Mrs Moore, who lives in North Elkington with husband Brian, joined the charity seven years ago and has spent most of her work experience in social care.

Trustees for the society described her work as an 'outstanding contribution to visually impaired people'.

Society staff say they are sorry to see her leave and wish her a long and happy retirement.

At a presentation ceremony Mrs Moore was given vouchers for Wyvale Garden Centre and Scotts Jewellers in Louth from the trustees and staff of the Blind Society.

The society is based in Ramsgate, Louth.
