£7,000 donation aids patient rehabilitation in Louth


Patients at Louth County Hospital will benefit from new equipment during their rehabilitation, thanks to a generous donation of £7,000.

The hospital’s League of Friends has kindly donated specialist furniture to Carlton Ward.

Vivienne Benson, ward sister for Carlton Ward said: “I would like to thank the League of Friends, who work tirelessly to ensure visits to County Hospital are as comfortable as possible.

“This generous donation will help with the rehabilitation of the patients.”

Barbara Boobyer, chairman for the League of Friends, added: “We are delighted to be able to provide this equipment for the patients of our much loved Louth Hospital and will continue to support and provide this valued equipment.”
