A LOCAL ARTIST has donated a painting of a Louth scene to an auction helping to raise money for Louth's Spout Yard Park.
Harry Holmquest presented his painting of a Louth scene to the Secretary of Spout Yard Park, Robert Gwynne on Monday October 6.
Harry, who has donated 230 paintings to charity auctions, said: "Spout Yard Park is better than sliced bread! So I wanted to help raise money to keep the park going".
The painting will be auctioned at the park's fundraising barn dance at the Trinity Church Centre on October 18 where there will also be music by the Mini Morris Ceilidh Band and a pizza and salad supper.
For information about tickets please contact the park office on 609091.
