THE LOUTH Boots store in Louth was the target of an attempted burglary on Thursday.

At around 10.55pm the window of the store was smashed and then two men were seen fleeing from the scene.

It is not thought that anyone actually went into the store.

Police are now appealing for witnesses to the offence or who saw two men running from the store and getting into a vehicle.

Contact Louth Police Station on 01507 604 744.
