Wednesday 3.30pm - A COUPLE returned to Grimoldby 32 years after emigrating to Canada to help celebrate their golden wedding.
Bob and Paula Bissell were married in Grimoldby Church in 1958 and used to live in the village.

Bob, 69, worked as a RAF firefighter at Manby and Strubby airbases and Paula, 69, was a waitress at Mablethorpe before they emigrated to live in Alberta, Canada, in 1976.

They had a golden wedding celebration in Canada and then flew to the UK to stay with their friends Martin Taylor and Margaret Hart of Withern.

They had a get together of family and friends at Grimoldby Village Hall to celebrate their anniversary.

Bob and Paula have two children, Gary and Perry, and three grandchildren.
