Cyclist injured in Louth

Tuesday 9.10am - A CYCLIST was taken to Grimsby Hospital with serious injuries after he was in collision with a car in Louth.
The 78-year-old local man was riding a bike in James Street when he was involved in the accident with a silver Renault Megane driven by an 81-year-old local man.

The accident happened at 12.25pm on Monday.

The driver of the car was shocked but not reported injured.

* Anyone who was in the area and saw either the collision itself or the Renault or cyclist before the collision is asked to contact the police on 01522 558855.
