Wednesday 8am - PATIENTS will for the first time have access to an MRI scanner at Louth County Hospital.
The move is part of a multi-million pound contract to deliver a range of new and improved services across the county.

A new 'one-stop-shop' clinic at Louth will deliver intermediate diagnosis and treatment for patients suffering from a wide range of musculoskeletal problems such as sports injuries or back, joint and ligament pain.

The Louth service will also include x-ray and ultrasound facilities.

New clinics operated by Care UK, which was awarded the estimated £2.5 million contract from NHS Lincolnshire, will also be established in Lincoln, Gainsborough, Skegness, Grantham, Sleaford, Bourne, Boston and Spalding.

Mark Hunt, Managing Director of Care UK Health Care Services said Care UK was 'very excited' to be working with NHS Lincolnshire.
