MARATHON Madness at Lacey Gardens Junior School, Louth, raised £1,500 for two children's charities.
Pupils, along with teachers Tracy Cotton and Lee Dobson, boosted funds for charities Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths, which researches the prevention of cot deaths, and Get Kids Going, which supports sport for disabled children.

The whole school took part in running and walking races and pupils were sponsored for taking part.

Lee said: “The whole school joined in, it was a really good, nice day. We wanted to make kids aware of the charities and what we do. The amount raised was very impressive”.

The day was arranged to raise further funds after Tracy ran the London Marathon on April 13 for FSID, and Lee ran the Paris Marathon for Get kids Going on April 6.
