Wednesday 2pm - LADIES of Louth and surrounding areas have the opportunity to help raise some cash for injured fire fighters in a special Ladies Driving Challenge – with guest star Diane Binks from Channel 5 show Late Night Sport in attendance.
Women from across the district can get into gear and have a taster of driving mammoth vehicles like fire trucks, tractors and tanks.

The female friendly affair will be held at Manby airfield on Sunday August 17.

All women over the age of 17 with a full driving licence are welcome to join in during either the morning or afternoon sessions and proceeds will go to The Fire Fighters Charity.

Laura Harden, Regional Fundraiser explained: "Behind the fun, there is a very serious message that we are supporting those heroic fire fighters who risk their lives for us".

Registration costs £10 and entrants are asked to raise a minimum of £90 in sponsorship.

If you and your friends would like to take part, request a registration pack from Laura Harden on 07798 725560 or lharden@firefighterscharity.org.uk.
