Saturday 8am - THE LOST wonders of Lincolnshire will be celebrated at a village event.
St Mary's Church in Marshchapel will hold the Lost Lincolnshire Exhibition on Sunday and Monday, May 2 and 3, from 11am to 5pm each day.

The organisers said: "In our beautiful county we have many things to admire today but the aim of this exhibition is to show the many things we have lost.

"The list of demolished grand houses is almost endless, houses that would have been treasured now and been a great attraction for our many visitors.

"Almost every village would have had its own windmill – now there are only a handful of restored working mills left.

"Our heavy engineering factories which once employed thousands of people and distributed goods throughout the world are all but gone."

The free exhibition also features photos of lost houses in Marshchapel and seaside towns.

There will be refreshments and stalls.
