Saturday 8am - TWO Louth DJs have jetted off to the laser lit clubs of Ibiza to pursue their dreams of becoming top DJs on the clubbing scene.
Ryan Taylor, 19, and Jack Cameron, 17, both from Louth, started learning to DJ seven years ago and perform on Friday nights at Kais Bar in the town.
But now they feel ready to tackle the clubbing hotspot Ibiza, renowned for it's attraction to young clubbers.
Ryan Taylor said: "We are taking a chance and trying to prove to ourselves we can do it. If we don't go for it now, we know we'll regret it."
The ambitious pair, who work under the name ElekTRO HeadZ, set off on their adventure last Wednesday for a nine night trial.
If successful, they will stay all summer entertaining young party goers.
They went to Ibiza last summer where they built up contacts such as DJ Foxy who plays in Ibiza from May to October.
"We come back with new stuff people haven't heard of and by Christmas loads of people are listening to it," added Ryan.
Once they return they will go back to DJing at Kais where they play mixes of other people's music as well as their own.
