Marks & Spencer quash Louth store rumour

Tuesday 11.20am - MARKS and Spencer has quashed rumours it is planning to open a store in Louth.
There was speculation the company was looking to move into the Wilkinson store in Eastgate - which will be left vacant when Wilko's moves into the former Kwik Save premsies in July.
However a Marks and Spencer spokesperson told the Leader this week: "While M&S is constantly looking for new sites, we have nothing to confirm in the Louth area at present."
