Monday 11am - POLICE are to be urged to attend a future meeting of Louth Town Council to address concerns crime may be escalating.
The initiative follows worries expressed by Coun Jill Makinson-Sanders about recent incidents in Gospelgate including a stabbing, an assault and the aerial wiring being ripped out of seven homes by youths on their way to Hubbard's Hills.

Coun Jean Dean said the problems were not confined to Gospelgate but were spread across the whole town.

He said: "It's because there are now so many late night drinking establishments."
