Friday 12.30pm A HOUSE in Louth was struck by lightening during last night's torrential rain storms.
The house in Robinson Lane, was hit directly at 8.45pm, causing major damage to all electrics and leaving a gaping hole in the roof.

The family now have to stay in a hotel as the house is uninhabitable.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Team was called who stayed there four hours ensuring the site was safe.

East Lindsey District Council Building Control were also at the scene to make sure the house was secure throughout the night.

Thankfully, there was no injuries to any member of the family.
