Thursday 11am - A LEADING Lincolnshire flower arranger has come up with a colourful fundraising idea for the Louth & District Hospice Appeal.
Robin Leak and his partner Fred Frost have donated greetings cards and postcards to the appeal made from photos taken by Robin of some of his floral designs.

The attractive cards and postcards will be sold at the Hospice Bookshop in Aswell Street, Louth.

Meanwhile people continue to raise money for the appeal.

Flora and Paul Bennett held a garden party at Brackenborough Hall, near Louth, with a tombola, crafts and entertainment by the Maypole Dancers from Eastwold Church of England Primary School and the Maureen Nicholls Line Dancers.

The event raised £1,456, which included a donation by the Louth Staff Community Fund of Lloyds TSB and a number of raffle prizes donated by the Norwich and Peterborough Building Society in Louth.

Several tea parties held locally by hard working hospice supporters raised a further £1,253.

The hospice volunteers and trustees thanked Kevin Ferguson, Manager of the Louth Co-op store, for supplying tea, milk and sugar for the tea parties.
