SIX candidates are each competing for a place on Lincolnshire County Council for the Louth Wolds vacancy.
The post fell vacant after the death of Conservative, Sheila Roy.
Hopefuls are: Barry Gleeson (UKIO), Hugo Marfleet (Cons), Eric Needham (Lib-Dem), Michael Preen (Lab), Daniel Simpson (Ind) and Robert West (BNP).
Polling for the by-election is July 31.
Louth Wolds ward includes - Aby with Greenfield, Asterby, Authorpe, Beesby with Saleby, Belleau, Benniworth, Binbrook, Brackenborough, Burgh on Bain, Burwell, Calcethorpe with Kelstern, Claythorpe , Donington on Bain, Elkington, Fotherby, Gayton Le Marsh, Gayton Le Wold, Goulceby, Hainton, Hallington, Hannah cum Hagnaby, Haugham, Keddington, Legbourne, Little Cawthorpe, Ludford, Maidenwell, Maltby Le Marsh, Market Stainton, Muckton, North Ormsby, Raithby cum Maltby, Ranby , Reston, Scamblesby, Sotby, South Willingham, Stenigot, Stewton, Strubby with Woodthorpe, Tathwell, Utterby, Walmsgate, Welton le Wold, Withcall, Withern with Stain, Wyham cum Cadeby.
