Thursday 4.20pm - DETAILED panoramic views in and around the Louth and Mablethorpe area are now available to view on-line through internet giant Google's revamped StreetView service.
Users can now log-on and view 360 degree street-level imagery of almost EVERY street in the town and across the UK.

The level of detail is akin to actually standing in the street yourself, with shops, cars, and street signs all clearly visible.

The images were captured through a camera attached to the top of a car which patrolled the streets of Louth on a sunny day at various intervals over the past year.

The new imagery update now means 238,000 miles of public road are now available in Street View in the UK.
