Wednesday 11am - THE first Lincolnshire Newspapers websites' Pet Star vote created lots of interest with more than 12,000 votes being cast in a month!
The winner, Frankie from Skegness, will feature on the homepage of our popular Readers' Pets section on this website for the next month and we're starting a new vote to find a Pet Star to go on the homepage early in June and hopefully at the end of the year we'll have a Pet Star of the Year vote featuring all the winners and runners-up.

And among the finalists for this month's new Pet Star vote are: Stix and Missy from North SomercotesCharlie from Mablethorpeand Bowson from Sutton on Sea

There are many animal rescue groups and charities locally and we have now added links on the Readers' Pets homepage to some of them - and we'll be happy to add others if you let us know the full web address.

If you want to know more, send us YOUR pet's photo, vote for a pet or send us details of a charity/rescue group just click on the Readers' Pets tile on the homepage.
