Woman assaults man in Louth

WITNESSES are being sought to an assault which happened in Lacey Gardens, Louth between 3pm and 3.30pm on Tuesday.
A 42-year old man was involved in an altercation with a 40-year old local woman, which led to the woman assaulting the man.

Although the injuries are only very minor, police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident.

They are particularly keen to hear from anyone who saw a man and a woman arguing in Lacey Gardens, or witnessed the assault.
