Monday May 19 will see the work at Wood Lane stepping up a gear, with a programme of drainage and the installation of a traffic management system taking place over a 10 week period. Residents of Louth using Wood Lane should expect to see the following during that time -
* May 19 for two weeks – Sewerage and drainage works along the verge of the playing field.
* June 2 for eight weeks – traffic management system to be installed, including a roundabout, site entrance and cycle path onto and along the site.
East Lindsey District Council's Project Manger, David Warden, explained: "Lincolnshire County Council and UCS Civils will oversee the works on site and will make every possible attempt to keep disruption to a minimum for residents and users of the road."
"The project is now moving apace and these works are vital to ensure that the site is ready for construction to begin in the summer. We are working closely with our contractors to keep residents and stakeholders well-informed as the work continues".
