Friday 8am - PLANS for a road closure of up to six months at Saltfleet Bridge in Saltfleet are causing alarm.
At a meeting of East Lindsey District Council's northern area commitee, chairman Coun Terry Knowles said: "It will affect the whole coastal strip - a lot of villages will be affected."

Lincolnshire Highways plan to close this section of the road in order to strengthen the bridge for the benefit of traffic, expecially HGVs.

The timetable has not been announced but the work is expected to start in October.
