TUESDAY, May 9. People all over the area woke up this morning to find their cars covered in a yellow dust.
There were reports of the dust in Sutton on Sea, Manby, Skegness and Horncastle and as far inland as Sleaford and Lincoln.
Experts have suggested the dust could be pollen from oil seed rape fields or sand from the Sahara which has dropped from the upper atmosphere
