A woman from Alford will face a jury trial at Lincoln Crown Court to face two driving offences, including dangerous driving and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Tara Vanessa Lee, 29, of Conlie Close, is accused of dangerous driving in Skegness on Sunday (February 22).

On the same day, she is also charged with driving while under the influence of alcohol in Chapel St Leonards, allegedly having 57 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

Lee appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court yesterday (February 23) and the court directed that her case should be dealt with at Lincoln Crown Court instead. She is due to appear there on March 9.

In the meantime, Lee has been granted conditional bail which includes an electronically-monitored curfew, plus the condition that Lee is not allowed to sit in the front seat of any motor vehicle.
