IT’S all change at the Alford and Mablethorpe Rotary Club after solicitor Jim Needley handed over the presidential reins to local businessman and Governor of Tennyson and Monks Dyke School John Conyers.

Well known in the area all his life, this is John’s second time as President having carried out the role during 1986/1987.

In that year it was a family affair as his wife Margaret was President of the Alford and Mablethorpe Inner Wheel Club and it is a great coincidence that they will share the same posts this time.

John said: “I am looking forward to this challenge just as much as the first time and also to the support we will continue to give to communities both locally and overseas.”

Canon the Reverend Chris Lilley took over as President elect and retired Chief Superintendent David Black becomes Vice President.
